Welcome to the web-site of the Luzerne-Wyoming Counties
Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees
(PASR).
We are retirees from the public schools of the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania who gather four times a year to enjoy
a fine luncheon, to socialize, and to provide services
necessary for all of us to enjoy our retirement. We are
secretaries, custodians, cafeteria workers, bus drivers,
teachers, administrators, and anyone who was employed
by a public school system. Our web-site is designed for
you to get to know what we do and how we do it. We hope
you find the information to be of interest to you. Any
questions you may have can be answered by contacting an
officer or committee chair identified herein.
Our members sincerely believe in service to our membership
and our communities, and we provide those services through
these and other committees: Our members are directly serviced
by committees such as the Legislative; Legislative/Political
Education Committee; Membership and Benefits; and Social
Service Committees. Our communities are directly serviced
by our Community Service and Educational Support Committees.
The Luzerne-Wyoming Chapter of PASR is an organization
of school retirees who gather to maintain the relationships
we enjoyed while in the workplace, to socialize and reminisce
with other retirees, and to work to make our retirement
years truly enjoyable.
