Purpose
The Foundation was founded to do the following:
#1 - Develop and support programs that promote improvements in public education for the citizens of Pennsylvania
#2 - Encourage and support students seeking to pursue careers in public education
#3 - Promote the positive accomplishments of Pennsylvania's public schools and the outstanding service provided by individuals employed in the public schools of the Commonwealth.

Contributions
Contributions to the Foundation may be made by individuals, PASR members, PASR chapters and regions and by anyone interested in supporting public education in Pennsylvania. The Foundation has been approved by the IRS as a non-profit charitable foundation. As such all contributions are tax deductable.

 

 

Organization

The Foundation's governing body is made up of one representative from each of PASR's 12 regions and four officers: a President, a Vice-President, a Treasurer and a Secretary.
