Chapter Awards for 2007-2008

2008 PASR Scholarship Winners

This year's scholarship winners both scored over 1980 on their SAT's and were involved in numerous school, extra curricular, and outside activities. Both girls will be in honors education classes in the fall. Ellen Santa Maria at Juniatia and Brittany Zane at the University of Delaware.

2008 Lauretta Woodson Award Winners

The Lauretta Woodson Award (including a plaque and a one hundred dollar stipend) is designed to recognize one professional educator and one support professional from one school district in the County each year. This year's honorees were Dolores Monzo, the Southeast Delco Elementary math coach and Kathleen Duffy, a support professional at the District's Kindergarten Center.

Annual Science Fair

Dr. Paul Miller and John Ruth of the Delaware County Chapter of PASR served as judges during the Delaware County Science Fair held at Granite Run Mall March 3-5. John Ruth presented the Chapter's four $50 awards to winners in categories selected by the Fair Committee. The Delaware County Chapter has been involved in the Science Fair for the last several years.
